Velamma is all for teenagers having a good time. But when she catches a pair of young men senselessly vandalizing her house in episode 115, that is a bridge too far! Velamma hauls the delinquent brothers into her house and gives them an ultimatum: Either she’s calling the police, or they can tell her their parents’ phone number so Velamma can discuss their sons’ misbehavior with them. The two boys then break down, sharing with Velamma tales of poverty and parental neglect that breaks her heart. Pitying the siblings, Velamma asks what she can do to help them. The brothers, however, turn out to be more clever than Velamma, tricking her into teaching them the facts of life!
